Terms & Conditions – Château de Paradis

1. Booking Policy

  1. You may book your stay at Château de Paradis at any time, subject to availability. Any booking requests made more than 12 months in advance will be provisionally held and confirmed 12 months prior to arrival.

  2. Reservations are confirmed in writing and are only guaranteed once the first deposit has been received. If payment is not made within 7 days, the reservation may be canceled.

  3. We strongly recommend that you purchase adequate travel insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances.

2. Cancellation & Amendments

  1. You may cancel or amend your booking at any time by notifying us in writing. Any amendments will be considered at our sole discretion, and additional charges may apply.

  2. All payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. We recommend checking whether your travel insurance covers cancellations.

3. Payment Terms

  1. The payment schedule is as follows:

    • 50% non-refundable deposit required to confirm your reservation.

    • 50% balance due 60 days before arrival, also non-refundable.

  2. Rates are provided in EUR (€). Payments can be made via bank transfer, following the instructions in your confirmation email.

  3. All bank fees or transfer commissions are the guest’s responsibility.

4. Check-in & Check-out

  1. Check-in: From 4:00 PM

  2. Check-out: By 12:00 PM

  3. If you arrive before check-in or depart after check-out, we will try to accommodate your needs, subject to availability.

5. Château Amenities & Services

  1. Service: The château is maintained by a dedicated team, including housekeeping and garden employee

  2. Luxury accommodations: All rooms feature premium bedding, luxury amenities and modern entertainment systems with Smart TVs and streaming apps.

  3. Recreational facilities: Guests have access to the entire estate (except the technical rooms) a heated swimming pool, a cinema room, the wooden sauna and a billiard lounge.

  4. Outdoor experiences: The 21-hectare estate includes woodland trails, private relaxation areas, and panoramic countryside views.

6. Guest Responsibilities

  1. Guests are responsible for maintaining the château and its facilities in good condition.

  2. Smoking Policy:

    • Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the château.

    • Smoking outdoors is only allowed in designated areas and must be done with extreme caution, particularly during dry summer months when fire risks are high.

    • Smoking may be completely prohibited in certain outdoor areas depending on local fire hazard levels. Château de Paradis reserves the right to enforce temporary bans when necessary.

  3. Any damages must be reported immediately.

  4. Château de Paradis reserves the right to charge for damages beyond normal wear and tear.

7. Privacy & Photography

  1. To maintain the exclusive nature of Château de Paradis, guests are expected to behave as good père de famille.

  2. Unauthorized photography, video recording, or sharing of private events is not permitted without prior consent.

8. Liability & Safety

  1. Guest Responsibility & Assumption of Risk

    • Château de Paradis is not liable for accidents, injuries, property loss, or unforeseen circumstances during your stay.

    • Guests must take reasonable precautions and act responsibly at all times.

  2. Swimming Pool & Child Supervision

    • The swimming pool is not supervised. Guests swim at their own risk.

    • Children must be supervised by an adult at all times when using the pool, gardens, or any outdoor areas.

    • Running near the pool and diving are strictly prohibited to prevent accidents.

    • Pool safety barriers must remain closed when the pool is not in use.

  3. Fire Safety & Smoking Restrictions

    • Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the château.

    • Smoking outdoors is only allowed in designated areas and must be done with extreme caution, especially during dry summer months.

    • In high-risk fire conditions, smoking may be completely prohibited in certain outdoor areas, as per local regulations.

    • Guests are responsible for ensuring they do not engage in activities that could increase fire hazards on the estate.

  4. Use of Bicycles & Motorized Equipment

    • Guests who use bicycles or any motorized equipment (e.g., electric scooters, golf carts, ATVs) provided by Château de Paradis do so entirely at their own risk.

    • Château de Paradis is not liable for injuries, damages, or accidents that occur while using these items.

    • Guests are required to exercise caution and follow safety guidelines when using any such equipment.

  5. General Safety Guidelines

    • The château grounds include forest trails and uneven terrain. Guests should exercise caution, particularly in low-light conditions.

    • Any damages, safety hazards, or concerns must be reported immediately to château staff.

9. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of France. Any disputes shall be resolved amicably where possible.
