The Château de Paradis is located in the Loire Valley – It is an 18th century chateau built for the duke of Choiseul, minister of King Louis XV. This neoclassical château built for Louis XV’s most famous and controversial minister offers particularly refined architecture and decor. It comprises two wings from the 16th and 18th centuries, spanning 1600 square meters, with various outbuildings and 19 hectares of woods and pastures. It has been partially listed as a historical monument since 1947. Specific protections include the facades and roofs; the ground floor room adorned with woodwork, its painted ceiling, and its stone fireplace; the dovecote; the North door.
